One account manager with a mobile number on every booking, 7am to 2am.
Most agencies fill a job by sending as many bodies as they can at minimum wage. We look at the same job and ask how few excellent people it actually needs, then pay them properly to do it. Your invoice is lower. Your guests notice the difference.
Every person we send has been interviewed by a founder, worked a paid trial shift alongside us, and been briefed on your venue 48 hours before the door opens. They are not on a rota they never chose. They accepted your shift because they wanted it.

Salt Social People exists because we had both seen the same thing from opposite ends: agencies that treat workers as headcount and clients as invoices. We wanted the agency we would want to book, and the one we would want to work for.
Ten years in events. Agency floors, bar work, pop-ups and her own events, with multiple agencies across the UK. Tasmyn interviews every person we take on and works the first booking with every new client.
Sixteen years in operations, from postman to running a 42-depot national network with 650 drivers. Liam runs the rota, the briefs and the standby lists, and will be washing glasses next to you when the night needs it.
Your brief lands with Tasmyn or Liam, not a queue. A written quote within 60 minutes (8am to 8pm) and a call if anything needs clarifying.
Every person paid through our PAYE payroll, so you carry no status risk. Right-to-work checks before day one. Employers' Liability £10m, Public Liability £10m. Certificates with your first confirmation.
Keep them. Use us for the shifts they cannot fill, or the ones that matter most. Overflow is where most first clients start.
Short on people for a big weekend? We supply overflow to other agencies on the same published terms.
We take on fewer people than other agencies and give them more work, more money and a real person to call. You choose every shift. Three fields to start. A human rings you within 24 hours.
Stay with us and your rate rises. Salt Core members get guaranteed hours through December and first refusal on shifts.
They are independent workers who accept or decline each shift we offer. There is no obligation either way. For tax, HMRC's agency rules mean we run their pay through PAYE with holiday pay, pension and sick pay, so you carry no employment-status risk and they carry no tax surprises. Genuinely self-employed specialists we source for you (a sommelier with their own business, a driver with their own vehicle) are engaged under a separate contractor agreement.
Four hours per person per shift. No minimum number of people.
Same day is often possible in the North East and London. We tell you within two hours whether we can fill it. Short notice does not change the price.
Expenses at cost, as their own line on the quote: accommodation we book, travel or mileage, and £20 per person per day for meals. Nothing is marked up and receipts are available.
Not directly. Door supervision needs an SIA licence and we refer that to a licensed partner. We do supply stewards, admissions and event crew.
A 20% line on top of the staff cost that covers a late finish, an extra pair of hands or a change on the night without a renegotiation. If we do not need it, you do not pay it, and if the whole job comes in under the quote we refund 5% of the total.
Digital clock in and out. Timesheet to you Monday for the week ending Sunday, approved by noon or deemed approved after 24 hours. Invoice Monday, 14-day terms. New clients: 7 days or a card on file for the first month.
Yes. We would rather you took someone on than lost them. Transfer terms are in our terms of business and include an extended-hire option instead of a fee.
Employers' Liability £10m, Public Liability £10m, Professional Indemnity £1m. Right-to-work checks on everyone before their first shift. Food safety Level 2 for anyone handling food or drink. Certificates come with your first confirmation.
Yes. New clients get one person for one four-hour shift free on their first booking. The person is paid in full by us. If they are not the best person in your building that night, do not book us again.
