Two arenas bring touring shows with bars that open ninety minutes before doors and need clearing an hour after. Deansgate, Spinningfields, the Northern Quarter and Ancoats run the bar and restaurant trade, and Salford Quays hosts the media, tech and corporate work that books private dinners and launches through the year.
Outside the city, the North West has a wedding market that most agencies underserve: country houses across Cheshire, the Peak fringe and the Ribble Valley, forty minutes from the nearest pool of spare waiters. Racecourses at Haydock, Chester and Aintree run hospitality on big days. Liverpool has its own arena and waterfront calendar. We quote all of it on the same national rate, with travel at cost only beyond 15 miles of the worker's base.

We tell you honestly at booking what we can fill locally and what we cannot. If a booking is bigger than our Manchester bench on that date, we say so within two hours and either fill the gap from our travelling core team with travel shown at cost, or tell you the number we can deliver. Nobody finds out on the day.
The usual way to staff a Manchester gala dinner is to send more people than the room needs at the lowest rate the agency can pay. Guests notice. We send fewer, better people, pay them £14.00 an hour plus holiday from the first shift, and brief them twice: in writing 48 hours before, and by phone three hours before. They photo check-in on arrival and your named account manager answers the phone until 2am.
If anyone is not right, tell us inside the first hour and there is no charge for that person. If the whole job comes in under the quoted total, 5% of the final invoice comes back to you. Those two promises are written into our terms, not just onto this page.
